The World Surf League (WSL) has announced a partnership with outdoor living company, Dometic, covering the Australian leg of the 2021 WSL Championship Tour.

As part of the deal, Dometic will receive branding across all four events of the Australian leg of the Tour and will have broadcast integration with ‘Out the Back with Dometic’ and content with Australian surfer, Owen Wright.

WSL APAC commercial director, Scott Hargreaves, said the two organisations align perfectly with a focus on action, freedom, and adventure.

“As surfers, getting away to find new or uncrowded waves with friends and family is a natural part of the surfing lifestyle,” Hargreaves said.

“Products that improve the experience of adventure is something typical surfers are constantly looking for and we have found that with Dometic’s products.

“WSL couldn’t be more stoked to be partnering with a company that shares our passion for the outdoors and we look forward to telling the Dometic story across the upcoming Australia CT leg in New South Wales and Western Australia,” he said.

Dometic managing director for ANZ, Trent Rowe, said: “We’re excited to be teaming up with the World Surf League for the Australian leg of the tour, as the official outdoor partner.”

“Being part of the outdoor experience is in our fabric, that’s why we develop products that allow people to be present and in the moment.

“We’ve been part of that experience for many years, so now it’s a great opportunity to give back and support the industry,” Rowe said.
