Top NBL Partnerships: 36ers And Phoenix
s the NBL prepares for the 2021/22 season, here’s the latest commercial partnerships from around the league.
The Adelaide 36ers have announced a number of key partnership additions and renewals, with Walker Corporation signing a major front of jersey partnership with the club.
As part of the three-year deal, Walker Corporation’s logo will be displayed on the front of the Adelaide 36ers jerseys with the company to receive game day signage, hospitality and activations, as well as digital and social channel benefits.
Walker Corporation founder and executive chairman, Lang Walker, said: “The Adelaide 36ers are on an exciting trajectory in the NBL and Walker Corporation is proud to be the 36ers major partner for the next three years.”
“The Adelaide 36ers are more than a basketball team – they are an organisation which has deep roots in the South Australian community, supporting charities and medical research.
“The 36ers are strongly aligned with our company values and we are excited to partner with them, as our commitment to the South Australian community grows over the coming decades,” Walker said.
The Adelaide 36ers also announced a new three-year major partnership with Fantastic Snacks, with the company’s logo to be displayed on the back of the club’s jerseys.
The club also announced partnership extensions with Tyrepower, and with Harcourts South Australia.
Elsewhere, Tyrepower have also signed a two-year partnership extension with South East Melbourne Phoenix, extending their partnership to become a major sponsor, receiving prominent on-court branding at all home games and supporting grassroots programs.
Phoenix CEO, Tommy Greer, said: “We are extremely excited to have Tyrepower return for a third season and for them to elevate their status to major partner shows their belief in our clubs’ vision and the NBL product moving forward.”
“We look forward to continuing to build on an already great partnership with an amazing national brand,” Greer said.
South East Melbourne Phoenix have also announced HART Sport as their official community partner and Anderson Homes as a partner for the 2021/22 NBL season.
HART Sport founder and CEO, Greg Harten, said: “HART Sport is really excited to partner with the SEM Phoenix.”
“As an Australian brand, with the purpose of helping people stay active through providing quality equipment, we feel joining the Phoenix as their community partner is a natural fit.
“The Phoenix has its elite pathways, but also promotes social inclusion, equality and education for young people through their community programs, which are all values we share.
“We’re so happy we can join forces,” Harten said.
