Top NBL Club Commercial Partnerships: 36ers, Hawks, More

ith the 2021 NBL season ongoing, here’s the latest commercial partnerships from across the league.

The Adelaide 36ers have announced KickStart For Kids as an official charity partner for the remainder of the 2021 NBL season.

The not-for-profit organisation, KickStart For Kids works to help disadvantaged school children in South Australia with school breakfast and lunch programs, mentoring programs, and school holiday care programs.

Adelaide 36ers player, Jack McVeigh, said: “Working with KickStart For Kids is a real privilege that is bigger than the game of basketball.”

“They positively impact thousands of kids’ lives in South Australia.

“It’s an honour to have KickStart For Kids and the Adelaide 36ers working together,” McVeigh said.

Elsewhere in the NBL, the Illawarra Hawks have announced gaming headset brand, RIG, as the club’s official event partner for the remainder of the 2021 season.

Hawks co-owner and president, Dorry Kordahi, said: “This is another great opportunity for the Illawarra Hawks to partner with a brand that shares the same pursuit of professional excellence as we do.”

“RIG is a market leader in its field and we are proud to align with a brand that believes in the direction we are taking this basketball club.

“We look forward to cultivating this relationship long into the future,” Kordahi said.

The Brisbane Bullets have announced Australian recycling specialist, Return-It, as the club’s official recycling partner.

Return-It managing director, David Singh, said he is looking forward to working closely with the Bullets to become more environmentally friendly.

“Everyone can participate,” Singh said.

“Be that the local under 10 team returning containers at their suburban Return-It depot to pay for new basketballs, the local basketball club signing up for ReCollect and running virtual bottle drives to help cover costs for state championships through to associations who can partner with us to become container return points,” he said.

Finally, the South East Melbourne Phoenix have announced the club has joined the Starlight Children’s Foundation’s ‘Meetings for Good’ initiative, with club CEO, Tommy Greer and chief commercial officer, Anoop Singh making themselves virtually available for individuals and groups to offer business advice and insights to raise money for Starlight.
