Top A-League Club Commercial Partnerships: Roar, Victory And More
n weeks filled with new commercial partnerships for A-League clubs approaching the midway point of the 2020-2021 season, here are the top partnerships you may have missed.
Brisbane Roar have announced Queensland organisation WB Electrical as the winner of their supporting small business competition, aiming to offer assistance to small businesses in the state who have been hit hard financially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Roar have offered an exclusive six-month partnership to the family-run business as their prize for winning the competition.
Roar CEO, David Pourre. said the club had a role to play when it came to small business in the sunshine state.
“Small businesses play an integral role across Queensland and Australia and have often been the hardest hit by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Pourre said.
“We are Queenslanders committed to helping out follow Queenslanders and we are thrilled to have WB Electrical join our Roar family.
“We encourage our dedicated members and fans to support our newest partner, as well as fellow small businesses through the state during these tough times,” he said.
Elsewhere, Melbourne Victory have re-signed Delphi Bank for the remainder of the current season.
The two parties have been in partnership since 2013, and Delphi Bank general manager, Jim Sarris, said he cannot praise the Victory’s support any more.
“We commend the club on always having the best interests of their players, members and fans front of mind, especially during such unprecedented times,” Sarris said.
“We look forward to continuing to deliver new experiences to supporters that enhance their love of the sport, and participation in this community,” he said.
As previously mentioned on Ministry of Sport, Western United have announced a partnership with Football Tasmania, bringing two home fixtures to Launceston during this season and next.
Meanwhile, Adelaide United have announced a partnership with Kozco Energy Group.
As part of the agreement, Kozco will supply and install a premium solar system on the United training centre.
Moving into Sydney, A-League newbies Macarthur FC have welcomed family-owned transport group There and Back Shuttles to their commercial partnership list, whilst Western Sydney Wanderers have announced Universal Fitness as part of their team, with special offers and member rates for supporters to be announced.
