Sydney Swans Announce Partnership Expansion With Nike

he Sydney Swans have announced they have expanded their partnership with Nike, who will become the official apparel and footwear partner of both the Sydney Swans and the QBE Sydney Swans Academy.

One of the changes will involve the iconic Nike swoosh to be placed on the neckline of the swans guernsey, which comes off the back of a recent announcement of the Swans’ new logo.

Sydney Swans CEO, Tom Harley, said the club has a strong values alignment with Nike, including a passion for sport and the community.

“We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Nike, who has been part of our team since 2017,” Harley said,” Harley said.

“Like our club, Nike is a brand that’s not afraid to change the status quo for the good of the game and the good of the community.

“This is one more exciting change for our young team and follows the launch of our new logo.

“We’re looking forward to working with Nike as we continue to build something special that we can all be proud of,” he said.

The partnership will also see Nike continue its ‘Move to Zero’ journey toward zero carbon and zero waste, with the latest Sydney Swans playing guernsey using a fabric made with at least 90% recycled polyester.

Nike Pacific vice president and general manager, Ashley Reade, said they were looking forward to recognising the strong community values the Swans’ had built up.

“Through our partnership, Nike and the Sydney Swans are celebrating the club’s strong community and we’re committed to the next generation of athletes and fans who passionately represent the club and its culture,” Reade said.
