Sydney FC And Sydney Sixers Sign New Sponsors For 2021

oth Sydney FC and the Sydney Sixers have announced new partnership deals for 2021, with Sydney FC naming the Glad Group a major partner and the Sixers signing on CMC Markets as a key sponsor.

For the A-League club, Sydney FC, the Glad Group will hold a shirt sleeve sponsorship position through the 2020/21 season, also becoming Sydney FC’s technical partner, featuring on the clubs A-League and W-League coaching and high-performance staff’s match day outfits.

Sydney FC CEO, Danny Townsend, said: “This is another great partnership for Sydney FC with a company who have an extensive presence across Australia.”

“Glad Group share many of our key values and are a family-owned business.

“Much like ourselves they have a strong community commitment, including a mutual link through the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.

“We are very happy to be working with them for the long term,” he said.

The partnership covers an initial first season with an option for a further two seasons afterwards if the partnership proves successful.

Glad Group founder and managing director, Nick Iloski, said he is excited to start a partnership with “Australia’s leading football club”.

“Sydney FC set the standard both on and off the pitch,” Iloski said.

“They are sports leaders, and their success is built on a family culture and investment in their community.

“We are delighted to be aligning with a club who have the same values and we look forward to helping and sharing in our future successes,” he said.

For the Sydney Sixers however, the Big Bash League (BBL) club hopes the partnership with CMC Markets will power the club’s new data driven social media content.

Sydney Sixers general manager, Jodie Hawkins, said the club is excited to partner with CMC Markets during a challenging time for the economy.

“The Sydney Sixers are one of the country’s premier sporting clubs who provide Sydney’s best value summer entertainment,” Hawkins said.

“At the same time, CMC Markets are Australia’s best value online broker and between us we are both passionate about innovation and customer experience.

“We are really excited to work with CMC Markets to bring some of the BBL’s most engaging data to the devices of our fans,” she said.

CMC Markets head of commercial for Asia Pacific, Cat Gallagher, said the Sixers’ focus on leadership, inclusion and engagement aligns with the CMC Markets brand.
