Surfing Victoria has just launched a new online surf coaching platform to develop rookie surfers across the state, but it could end up paying huge dividends for the state body if it’s picked up by surfers nationally.
Surf Better Now is a paid subscription service that has been created by former Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Finalist Adam Robertson and Surfing Victoria’s High-Performance Division.
Although the online coaching website has a specific focus on developing both aspiring and recreational Victorian surfers to reach their full potential, surfers across Australia can sign up an learn the technical and mental solutions to accelerate the development of their surfing.
The first 3 levels are free to the public with subscription tiers starting at $29 for Surfing Victoria members and $49 for non-members.
“It’s amazing to finally see this project come to fruition,” Surfing Victoria CEO and former professional surfer, Adam Robertson, said.
“The team have worked on this for the last 18 months and we are really proud of the product and happy to be able to offer more to our members.”
“We are excited to launch this website and excited to make further developments to the site improving the opportunities for all surfers in future.”
With over 50 years of experience, the coaches developing the site have worked with some of the worlds best surfers such as Kelly Slater and have been instrumental in helping surfers who are apart of the Surfing Victoria Performance Division including Nikki van Dijk, India Robinson, Xavier Huxtable, Joe Van Dijk, Codie Jeffery, Willis Droomer, Kobie Enright, Isabella Nichols and more.
“Working with Robbo and the Surfing Victoria team has been such a privilege over the past few years,” top Australian junior, Xavier Huxtable, said.
“He has an amazing amount of knowledge after surfing professionally for so many years and has allowed me to take my surfing to the next level.”
“The site is sick! It is essentially like being able to access the minds of some amazing surf coaches at any time.
“It will be epic for all surfers regardless of your age or skill.”
Website subscriptions are now open for purchase with levels available based on the surfer’s skill level.
