Stats Perform And NBL Extend Betting Data And Streaming Partnership
he Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) has extended its multi-year, exclusive official betting data and streaming partnership with Stats Perform.
Stats Perform chief rights officer, Alex Rice, said the combination of Stats Perform’s in-stadium ultrafast data and low latency live streaming with NBL basketball will create premium in-play betting experiences.
“Few global basketball leagues can rival the NBL’s atmosphere, quality and entertainment,” Rice said.
“We’re honoured to have been trusted to safely deliver high quality NBL betting experiences to their growing global audience for a number of years.
“In that time we’ve seen the competition and our partnership go from strength to strength, and we’re excited to continue working together to drive future growth,” he said.
With the extension of the partnership, Stats Perform has also been announced as an official integrity partner of the league, meaning Stats Perform’s Integrity Operations team will support the NBL in its approach to preventing match manipulation and betting fraud.
NBL chief commercial officer, Brad Joyner, said the NBL has seen “unrecognisable” change since the time when the partnership between the two started and the renewal of a new deal signals the success and growth of the competition.
“The NBL is almost unrecognisable from when we first started working with Stats Perform but whilst many things have changed, our need for a trusted partner to safely manage and grow our betting rights distribution has stayed the same and we’re very pleased to renew our partnership,” Joyner said.
The extension of the deal sees the NBL remain in Stats Perform’s betting content portfolio, which includes Spain’s La Liga, France’s Ligue 1, MLS, WTA tennis and a host of other competitions around the world.
