Pepper Money Recommit As Saints Co-Principal Partner For 2021

T
he St Kilda Saints have announced an extension of their partnership with Pepper Money, with the alternative lender to remain the club’s co-principal partner for 2021.

The focus of the partnership will reportedly shift to a community approach, with Pepper to have a presence across all Saints community programs including SaintsPlay, Play To Your Strengths, the Saints’ multicultural ambassador program, and St Kilda’s deaf, blind and wheelchair football teams.

Moving to the upper-back position of the Saints jersey for 2021, Pepper will also help the Saints host a ‘Community Round’ during a home game in 2021, highlighting organisations and individuals making a positive difference in the Saints community.

St Kilda CEO, Matt Finnis, said: “We are thrilled to have Pepper Money on board for 2021.”

“They have been a crucial part of our sponsorship family since 2015, and to have them not only recommit to us, but adjust their focus to include our community is fantastic.

“We know it has been an incredibly tough year right across Australia, but particularly in Victoria, so to have an organisation like Pepper Money invest in bringing people back together and helping them succeed is incredible,” he said.

Pepper Money Australia CEO, Mario Rehayem, said the partnership will focus on supporting under-served areas in the community.

“The Community Round will allow us to highlight organisations and individuals committed to making their community a better place,” Rehayem said.

“As a people focused lender, Pepper Money specialises in flexible loan solutions that help people through the highs, lows and unexpected events that real life throws at them.

“This partnership with the Saints will allow us to champion those people and make a tangible difference in the community, in areas that are traditionally under-served,” he said.
