Motorsport.tv has partnered with Grabyo to produce the first ever live digital motorsports channel, providing coverage of breaking news across the globe.
The programme, titled Motorsport.tv Live, hosted from studios in London and Miami, will use Grabyo’s cloud-based live production platform to cover leading news from F1, Formula E, MotoGP, NASCAR and Extreme E, along with other formats.
Using Grabyo’s remote capabilities, Motorsport.tv can collaborate on live news broadcasts from anywhere in the world, ensuring any race can be covered in any location, whilst delivering video packages in real-time to social media channels.
Motorsport.tv president, Eric Gilbert, said this partnership will give fans more content to look forward to.
“We are excited to launch the news channel and offer live news and insights to the motorsport community,” Gilbert said.
“Partnering with Grabyo will also allow us to deliver TV-quality short form video outputs to our 56 million monthly users across our web platforms and also on our social channels.
“We know that our viewers are looking for more access to motorsports content throughout the week, and our mission is to ensure nobody misses a thing,” he said.
Grabyo CEO, Gareth Capon, said this announcement is a positive for all parties.
“We are proud to work with Motorsport.tv to help launch this new live service and expand the way that motorsport fans can access news and live updates in all platforms,” Capon said.
“Enabling Motorsport.tv to deliver a digital service that brings fans closer to the action, whilst simplifying workflows in the cloud, is a win for fans and production teams alike,” he said.
