MARS Signs Three-Year Extension With Melbourne Renegades

MARS will once again feature on all playing, training and off-field uniforms for the Renegades WBBL and BBL squads after the confectionary company signed a three-year extension to remain as the clubs Principal Partner.

The iconic Australian brand has partnered with the current BBL champions since 2016 and MARS® Marketing Manager, Elly Harper, said it’s an exciting time to be part of the Melbourne Renegades.

“MARS® has a long history of partnering with great Australian sporting teams and we’re delighted to see our relationship with the Melbourne Renegades continue to grow,” Ms Harper said.

“It was thrilling to be part of the Renegades success last season and we’re looking forward to putting the building blocks in place to support the team’s continued success in the years ahead.

“We look forward to another brilliant season and bringing the entertainment of our iconic MARS® brand to the Big Bash around the nation.”

General Manager of Commercial, David Lever, said the agreement was a significant boost for the club ahead of the upcoming WBBL season.

“The relationship between MARS® and the Melbourne Renegades runs deeper than just our shared colours.

“MARS® is one of the most recognised brands across the Big Bash League.
“We’re about fun, we’re about high energy and we’re willing to do the type of hard work which delivered our first BBL title in February.

“With the home of MARS® in Ballarat, we’re looking forward to hosting a WBBL Derby there this season and continuing to work closely with the local community.

“To have this level of long-term support from such an iconic brand is a testament to the club’s growth through almost a decade of the Big Bash.”
