Eurosport Secure Ten-Year Broadcasting Rights To The Australian Open
iscovery subsidiary Eurosport will continue to broadcast the Australian Open live and exclusively across Europe after renewings its broadcast rights deal with Tennis Australia until 2031.
The ten-year extension will continue to offer the Australian Open to a bigger audience by streaming the Grand Slam across streaming services, including Discovery+.
Eurosport will also hold exclusive rights to other Tennis Australia events, including the Adelaide International ATP tournament.
After first broadcasting the Australian Open in 1995, the contract will include all linear and digital rights, extending the Australian Open’s long-term association to more than 25 years.
In addition to broadcasting live events, Discovery has collaborated with Tennis Australia on lifestyle and entertainment content designed to appeal to the broader audience, telling the stories of the players on and off the court.
