ECB SuperUtes Score Another major partner In MTQ

Australia’s owned and operated Engine Systems supplier, MTQ, has signed on to support the growing ECB SuperUtes Series.

MTQ, Australia’s biggest diesel and turbo genuine OEM aftermarket sales and service provider, will work with Supercars to supply all teams with new turbos as the Official Turbo Supplier of the Series.

MTQ Engine Systems CEO, Les Healey, said the ECB SuperUtes Series is a great platform for the company to promote their national network.

“As Australia’s leading Diesel and Turbo Aftermarket Service provider, MTQ have a long history of support in motorsport, and we are delighted to be in partnership with the SuperUtes Series in 2019,” Healey said.

“We see being the exclusive supplier of Turbochargers to the SuperUtes Series as a rare opportunity to promote the MTQ brand and contribute to the growth of this motorsport category in Australia.”

Supercars GM of Operations, Kurt Sakzewski, says MTQ’s role as Official Turbo Supplier of the ECB SuperUtes Series will help the category continue to progress in 2019.

“MTQ’s support will play a huge role in helping us to make technical improvements and updates over the opening rounds of this year’s Series,” Sakzewski said.

““Having an official Turbo supplier on board will help us speed up reaching our goal of increasing the overall engine power of all entries well past 300bhp.

The second ECB SuperUtes season will again include eight rounds, and three races per weekend.

The 2019 ECB SuperUtes Series starts on February 28-March 3, as part of the Superloop Adelaide 500 and will include a maiden visit to Western Australia, at the PIRTEK Perth SuperNight in May.
