Australia’s new on-demand streaming service from Fox Sports, Kayo Sports, has announced a stellar line-up of Aussie sports stars as new ambassadors.
Kayo Sports will stream live and on-demand matches from more than 50 sports, ranging from Australian mainstays such as AFL, NRL, rugby union, A-League, and Australian T20 cricket and Big Bash League cricket, to international codes.
Priced at $25 per month, Kayo Sports was released this week for Telstra TV, including apps on Apple TV, web browsers, Chromecast Ultra, and Google and Apple smartphones.
Recently crowned surfing champion Stephanie Gilmore will become the face of the new sports streaming service, alongside NBA star export Ben Simmons, Australian tennis ace Ash Barty, and One Day International superstar Glenn Maxwell.
Kayo Sports chief executive, Julian Ogrin said: “What we will offer is over 30,000 hours of sport annually, and over 2000 hours of sport every month.”
“We’re really catering for all those sports lovers who like codes from all around the world.”
The OTT service will use feeds from Fox Sports, ESPN, and BeIN Sports, to deliver overseas matches from the NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball, FA Cup, La Liga, Bundesliga, European PGA Tour, as well as UFC, MotoGP, and the World Rowing Championship.
More importantly, female codes will also feature in Kayo Sports, with the likes of the WNBL, Women’s Champion’s Trophy in hockey, Women’s World Rugby Sevens and Matilda’s international soccer matches.
