The Australian Baseball League’s Brisbane Bandits have secured two new major partners ahead of the 2018/19 season.
Couran Cove Island Resort will become the clubs naming rights partner for the next two years.
Located on South Stradbroke Island, Couran Cove Island Resort is the only island resort on the Gold Coast and offers guests peaceful seclusion just a 30-minute ferry ride from Hope Harbour and the Gold Coast’s entertainment and attractions.
Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits CEO, Mark Ready said the deal would help secure the long-term future of the Bandits in the Australian Baseball League.
“The opportunity for us to partner with such visionary people at Couran Cove Island Resort is exciting.
“With their staggering financial support, this deal will help secure the long-term future of the Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits.”
The baseball club has also received the backing of China Airlines as a major partner and the club’s official international airline.
China Airlines, which now flies direct to Taipei and Auckland from Brisbane daily, has signed a groundbreaking one-year partnership agreement and Bandits CEO, Mark Ready said: ”We are the first sporting team brand that China Airlines has chosen to partner within its history.
“We understand the significance of this decision and we are filled with immense pride.
“The huge financial support and business credibility this gives us here and in Taiwan is something we have been working very hard to achieve over the past four years.”
General Manager of China Airlines, Ray Chang, said the partnership will help strengthen the ties between Taiwan and the Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits.
“The Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits have already set a great foundation in Taiwan and we believe this will only strengthen this season and beyond, which creates many synergies with our brand to align ourselves with.
“We believe it is one of the best ways to promote our brand as a partner with the Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits as the preferred international airline and offer flights out of Brisbane every day to Taipei, and now Auckland in our brand new A350 aircraft.”
“We look forward to a successful season with the Couran Cove Brisbane Bandits and providing a quality service in the air for all Players, Staff and Fans.”
