A-Leagues Announce New Naming Rights Partner

he A-Leagues have announced a new three-year naming rights partnership with Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) for its men’s competition as it will officially be rebranded as ‘Isuzu Ute A-League Men’.

The partnership will now become the most significant partnership in the A-Leagues’ commercial development strategy.

Kicking off on 6 October 2021, ahead of the first match for the Isuzu UTE A-League Men on 19 November 2021, the partnership will also include naming rights of the men’s Final Series and IUA will be the official automotive partner for the A-League’ men, women, youth and E-sports leagues.

The new naming rights will see a broad range of marketing opportunities for IUA, including player kit branding, signage and branding rights across all A-Leagues channels, digital content and activation rights at all A-Leagues Men’s and Women’s matches as they have committed to providing vehicles to the APL and A-League clubs for on-the-ground support.

The new partnership with IUA comes off the back of recently forming the A-Leagues men’s women’s and youth teams, following broadcast partnerships with ViacomCBS’ Network Ten across free-to-air and streaming platform Paramount+.

The A-Leagues will join IUA’s portfolio alongside Surf Life Saving Australia and its Local Sports Sponsorship Fund, which has supported grassroots sporting clubs in local communities for several years.

A-Leagues CEO, Ant Hearne, said: “The A-Leagues are all about inspiring everyone to play to their own way, on and off the pitch, so there is a natural fit with the Isuzu UTE brand values of adventure, reliability and performance.”
